Stock Up On New Dog Toys For Spring

March 21 was the official start of spring, and with warmer than average temperatures across most of the country, we bet you and your pet are just itching to go on that first walk of the season

The cold winter months can be just as hard on your pet as they are on you, leaving dogs without a place to run and play. This spring, cure your cabin fever, along with your dog's and get outside for a walk or a game of catch.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on dog toys for the warm spring and summer months, when you and your pet will be soaking up every minute of nice weather! Your dog will love it more than you could ever imagine if he/she came home to a brand new tennis ball, or other fun dog toy to play with in the newly uncovered grass!

Spring is also the perfect time to replace worn out dog collars, leashes and tie outs that you will need this spring and summer. Your dog will always enjoy going on a neighborhood walk to show off their new collar and leash. Using a dog tie out while you perform outdoor work will allow your dog to enjoy the fresh air without running away.

In addition to the fun outdoor spring and summer activities you and your pet will enjoy, spring and summer seasons also cause pets to shed more than usual. Make sure you have an appropriate dog brush to help keep your furniture hair free and dog grooming supplies, such as flea and tick shampoo to keep your pet free of pesky outdoor mites.

Happy Spring to you and your pet!

Treat toys, puzzle toys, interactive games and even DIY toys are what I usually use to stimulate my dog's curiosity and intelligence. As the saying goes, a bored dog is a naughty dog so I keep my dogs active and at the same time happy with play time. For my Beagle who is a chewer, Kong Toys are the best. But lately, I found out that old denim jeans cut up and with some squeak toys inside really drives her crazy. Love it! See
